Kiravans Window Vent for VW T5/6 (Right Opening Window)
Der Einbau der Drehkonsole für die Beifahrer Sitzbank war ohne Probleme machbar, obwohl ich mir eine kleine Anleitung in Papierform gewünscht hätte. Mit Anleitungsvideos auf YouTube gings ohne Herumprobieren.
Was mich etwas stört, ist die Erhöhung der Sitzhöhe um fast 5cm, was für größere Beifahrer ab 175cm bei längeren Fahrten unangenehm wird.
Ich überlege deshalb, die klappbare Lehne etwas nach hinten zu neigen, eventuell durch Nachbearbeitung der Raste.
Da wäre eine Zusatzlösung durch Kiravans super!

Alles bestens, die Montage ganz einfach und die Funktion ist überzeugend. Eine allgemeine Zulassung wäre noch der Gipfel.
Guter Artikel. Wer einen T4 mit Zentralverringelung hat, bekommt Probleme mit dem Stellmotor, um die Seitenverkleidung einzubauen. Daher mussten wir, wie auch einer unserer Vorgänger schon erwähnt hat, die Verkleidung etwas mit der Heißluftpistole zurecht formen. Ansonsten guter Artikel und schnelle Lieferung.

Looks good, works as described but I don’t see the reason / benefit for the lip that stops the sliding window from closing fully when installed. I’ve modified mine by cutting out the lip. It now works perfect without having to drive around with a window half open.

Leider Passten die Löcher nicht. Ich habe alle Löcher aufgebohrt um die Konsole zu Installieren. Kein großer aufwand aber bei dem Preis sollte das nicht sein.
Vielen Dank für den Kommentar, Luc. Es tut mir leid zu hören, dass Sie Probleme damit hatten, dass die Schrauben nicht richtig ausgerichtet waren. Normalerweise wird dieses Problem durch die Schrauben und nicht durch den Drehpunkt verursacht. Die Schrauben sind falsch ausgerichtet, aber Sie können sie mit einem Hammer und einem Holzblock wieder anbringen. Es sollte niemals notwendig sein, neue Löcher in die Drehplatte zu bohren.
Finally the plate is working very well, and turning the seat is easy. But I had to buy different screws as the original ones and those delivered with the device blocked turning the seat. Additionally I had to put big holes in the plastic cover of the seat to have enough space for the thumb nuts.
Thanks for the review Philipp. Sorry to hear of your difficulties with installing it. It should certinly not be necessary to purchase new bolts or put holes in anything. I'm not quite sure what happened, but if you had contacted us we could have troubleshooted the issue together to find a solution. Hope you are still happy with the end result.
